Magical every year
Schenna and Merano in winter: excursions in the snow and sunshine guarantee
When the snow on the mountains is thick enough for skiing and snowshoeing and the sun is still shining in Schenna, the Fürstenhof opens its doors again for a while. As the old year draws to a close and the new one begins, you can discover winter hiking trails in unspoilt nature, the slopes of Meran 2000 and the Merano Christmas market from here. You will be amazed at how many sides there are to Merano and South Tyrol in winter.
In the centre of the village, the Raiffeisenplatz becomes an ice rink, on the mountains, meadows become pistes and in the Fürsten Spa, things get a little cosier. If you don't know Schenna and Merano in winter yet, you'll be surprised.
